I will no longer call you servants, because the servant does not know what his lord does; but I have called you friends, because all the things that I heard from my father, I have made known to you.
The terminology of servant-teacher and son-father, describes in a vivid way the intimate relationship that must exist between believers, Christ and the Father. But none has a sense as profound as that used by Jesus to call his disciples FRIENDS, because it contains identification and love.
