God's Heartbeat
God's Heartbeat
Hello to all our distinguished parishioners.
PEACE BE UNTO YOU;.
When man failed and dissapointed God, He had the power to destroy and recreates another man, since He is the creator. Man's slide from grace is captured in the third chapter of Genesis.
In the seventh and eight verses, the Bible recounts, "And the eyes of them both were opened and they knew that they were naked....And Adam and his wife his themselves from the presence of the Lord God". Ironically Adam forgot God's unmistakable omnipresence . Man cannot hide from God.
In man's supposed hiding, God made a simple call and found him (Genesis 3 vs 9). If God has given himself up to anger, He could have punished them with death at that I stance and in the blink of an eye created another man. Instead He spared them and made them clothing from animal skins (Genesis 3 vs 21).
Hopefully man would realize his mistakes, be penitent and change from his insolence , God thought.
Sadly enough , man continued to perpetuate evil. In the eight verse of the book of Genesis chapter four, the evil in man's heart eventually exploded beyond reasoning when Cain murdered his only brother Abel.
God's earlier command to man that he should never slay anyone indeed had fallen on a stint heart. Man's penchant for wickedness and baneful imagination did not decline by any bit. Rather evil activities greatly increase in the earth and God repented that he ever made man (Genesis 6 vs 5-6). In potential of this consistent act of evil, Jehovah's hope in man's likelihood for change was kept alive.
The moral situation on Earth worsened terribly. Men corrupted the earth with violent Crime and depravity. There and then God decided to destroy mankind. Yet not all men, He had mercy and Grace on Noah and his family. They were saved from the flood. (Genesis 6 vs 11-12). Afterwards, God blessed Noah and family.
They became fruitful and Multiplied. They replenished the earth. God has hope still that man would change for the better . Thus , God told man to scatter and spread across the earth, rather man mutinously chose to dwell closely together as much as possible . Fed up with man's recalcitrance and inexplicable disobedience, God began to mull over a lasting solution other than destroying mankind again.
Finally God decided, out of his extravagant love for all, to send His only Son to come and see for the world. Jesus truly came, took upon Himself the sins of the world and paid theorize with His life and men were saved from their sins. Through His blood and grace, you and I are saved. In the book of obadiah 1 vs 21, the Bible explicitly says, "And saviours shall come up on Mount Zion to judge the mount of Esau and the kingdom shall be the Lord's . Please mark this part, "...And the kingdom shall be the Lord's. This obviously means that Jesus saved you to save others for the Lords Kingdom . For this reason Jesus is called the saviour of the saviours.
He has entrusted you with the singular task of saving sinners in order to increase God's kingdom. But imagine you , a saviour ordained by heaven to bring lost souls back to Jesus, becoming a killer through lethal murderous prayers. You now invest your spiritual energy in praying fall and die but ignorant if the fact that spirits do not die but humans do.
Therefore it is important that we understand who we are in Christ and most importantly the manner of prayer we should invest in.
Thanks for reading

Well noted point "Therefore it is important that we understand who we are in Christ and most importantly the manner of prayer we should invest in." Thanks @steemchurch.
The mission of our lord Jesus Christ was to help bring onboard any sinner who comes our way..for the lords salvation..To do this we truly need to understand who we are in christ Jesus...very powerful
The ways of man is not the ways of God and he who takes God's work are always rewarded by the Father.
God's love is indeed incomprehensible. We break his heart over and over again but He keeps coming back, standing there and knocking for us to Him in. Giving His only son as the ultimate atonement for our sins.
We must show we love with the only one task we've been entrusted with - The great commission
@gamsam, i love your choice of word "incomprehensible". This reminds me of the encounter I had about God and He showed me an immeasureable and inquantified love. I call Him "El-infinitum"
The bible said and it repented God that he made man because their wickedness was too much upon the face of the earth
God is however a kind God, and that's why he's he provided us with the chance of redemption for us to embrace through Christ Jesus.
Amazing message this morning OS.
God's undying love for us still lingers, it's demonstrated when we show love to others by telling others about this great gift. Man has been ungrateful right from the days of Adam but our lovely Father in Heaven never give up on us. Hallelujah
Ephesians 2: 4-6
"But God, who is rich in mercy, because of his great love with which he loved us, even though we were dead in sins, gave us life together with Christ (by grace you are saved), and together with him he raised us up, and also made us to sit in heavenly places with Jesus Christ "
God is the owner of our life .. of our day to day .. Beautiful theme which minister to our hearts. Very beautiful. @steemchurch
Yes....we are saved to save othees....that the reason Jesus told Peter "Instead of catching fish, i will make you fishers of men" but unfortunately some christians are selfish....care only of themselves...view other that have walk astray as the worst sinners....but fail to understand that the way we live our lives is the best sermon.
Thanks @steemchurch for sharing.
God's love for mankind has been so extravagant from the first creation to the recreation process. This is why the angels questioned: "who is man that you are mindful of..." I wish our eyes are opened to see how much God values us so we can give Him our all. Thanks @steemchurch for this admonishing
