GOD'S INVITATION
Jesus spoke to them again in parables, saying: “The kingdom of heaven is like a king who prepared a wedding banquet for his son. He sent his servants to those who had been invited to the banquet to tell them to come, but they refused to come. (Matthew 22:1-3)

The good Lord, full of all goodness and love has prepared a good and pleasant place for man to spend their eternity. He has then put out a call of invitation to everyone to come and merry in His kingdom where is enormous and plenty blessings. Sadly, many have intentionally refused to treat God’s invitation as being important.
Instead of paying serious attention to the invitation from God, they take it very lightly as they go about their businesses, living their lives the way they deem fit. Let us not forget that there is a penalty to not yielding to God’s invitation.
What is this invitation about? It is the invitation to salvation. Jesus came to die for everyone but only those who accept and believe Him will be saved. Now is the time to say yes to Jesus because there will come a time when you will not have the opportunity and privilege to call on Him. Run to Jesus now before it gets too late.
Friends, the world we now live in is not ours forever, it will definitely and eventually fade away. Wealth and affluence will one day not matter or be useful. There is a kingdom and place better than this earth and as such we should not treat the things of the kingdom as being unimportant. In the end, nothing you see now or have will actually count and then you will regret not accepting God’s loving and caring invitation.
Take note that God’s invitation is not for a specific set of persons, it is for everyone. You do not any special qualification before God invites you; wealth, educational and social status is never a factor. Everyone is qualified by God so do not disqualify yourself. You are the one God is inviting; do not cause God to be disappointed.
Friends, if you can only run to Jesus, He will welcome you and accept you with open arms. Will you accept this invitation to salvation? Decide wisely…

God's invitation for us to have salvation is out of God's love for us, may we all accept this invitation to avoid regrets
