Humility is the act of being humble and to humble is the quality of living a low view of one's importance. Humility isn't to be arrogant and proud, it a state of modesty, meekness and unassuming. Such live give way for long living lifetime, it'll makes one get pleasure from the peace of life.
Apostle Peter reprimanded the church then to humble themselves so as to see God’s mightymighty hand which ends up to lifting and exaltation in due time. (1 Peter 5:6)
While Paul the Apostle was addressing the chur have in ephesus as regard their salvation, he made it k own that the salvation the claim they need isn't by their works. clearly from the text you see the people were claiming to possess laboured for his or her salvation even as many Christians are nowadays. The Apostle aforesaid God gave us the salvation by faith so many won't proudly and arrogance say they suffered to be saved.
For by such grace you have been saved through faith. This doesn't come back from you; it's the gift of God and not the results of actions, to place a stop to all or any self-praise.(Ephesians 2:8-9)
God gave us the salvation we tend to enjoy today so has to make us know that our pride isn't relevant to Him. many of all we get pleasure from these days life, peace, happiness, safety, blessings and lots of different things are not by our might. By grace we are alive while many others are dead and if not dead not comfortable. Humble yourself more brethren because there are several other goodies ahead to the humble before God. All would believe that this is often the nobility of the kingdom of heaven, that this is the royal spirit that the King of heaven displayed, that this is Godlike, to humble oneself, to become the servant of all. This is often the trail to the gladsomeness and also the glory of Christ's presence ever in us, His power ever resting on us.
Jesus, the meek and lowly One, calls us to learn of Him the path to God. let us study the words we've been reading, till our heart is crammed with the thought: My one need is humility. And let us believe that what He shows, He gives, what He is, He imparts. As the meek and lowly One, He can come in and dwell in the yearning heart.
