STEEMCHURCH: The grace of God can overcome any bitterness

in #steemchurch7 years ago

Selfishness is defined as the habit or attitude of a person in their interests, opinions, desires, in any environment with those around them. All of these are known to us, whether the self-concealed under selective rationalism, the cruelty hidden behind a position of dignity, or simply condemn pride under the elegance.

Does the Bible teach us in Hebrews 12:15? "Take care that no one fails to reach the grace of God, that no root of bitterness, sprouting, causes difficulties, and by it many are contaminated"

We as human beings have most of the time a root of bitterness that in one way or another has not been uprooted or simply has not been healed, sometimes we try to deceive ourselves through external actions of love towards the neighbor although in our interior there is no real change. As a result, a false ego arises as described above, we do not give value to "love" in itself, but to love actions. They are people that the bible describes as saying "They will have an appearance of piety, but they will deny the efficacy of it" (2 Timothy: 3: 5), "do not engarle yourself" (2 Timothy: 3: 5)

Any person who has some kind of bitterness tends to deceive I am not her but also the neighbor and as a result of this ends up contaminating the environment where it is found. All these actions have terrible consequences, although many times we think that this is not the case. Did you know? Can this twist and destroy the conscience of God's grace? and he does so by forming a ruthless personality.

What do we have to do to be able to eliminate that root of bitterness in ourselves, in order to really be able to love in Holiness?

We are not perfect but we must remember daily and keep in our hearts the grace of the redemption of Jesus Christ and dwell there constantly, not to be controlled by that root of bitterness that day by day is rolling us to see us fall. We can not stop it from infiltrating and contaminating the holy place where our God is present and the grace of the cross is priority.

In order to genuinely love we must have an intellectual life where we have not only to think, but to speak and act within the infinite grace of God.
