SLC31-W4: Shop & Share Challenge - Restaurant or Food Vendor.

Assalamu Alaikum I hope everyone is well by the grace of Almighty Allah. Today I am going to participate in the “Shop & Share Challenge Season 31 Week-4”. I sincerely thank the respected @josepha brother for organizing this beautiful challenge. In our daily life, we go to different restaurants, food shops or small local hotels. But we rarely get the opportunity to beautifully portray the atmosphere, taste of food and the busyness of the people in those places. I am really happy to get the opportunity to tell everyone about a well-known food shop in my area through this challenge.

Today I will share with you my experience about “Rasna Vilas Hotel and Restaurant” located next to our Badarganj Railway Station. This is a well-known local food hotel in our area. Especially for those who travel by train or come to Badarganj from far and wide. This restaurant is a very convenient place for them. Since it is very close to the station, passengers can easily sit here and eat or have tea and breakfast and take some rest. It takes about 15 minutes to go there by autorickshaw from our house. I went there that afternoon and I really liked the atmosphere of the place, the busyness of the people, and the taste of the food.

The name of the restaurant I went to was “Rasna Vilas Hotel and Restaurant”. After reaching in front of this restaurant, the first thing that caught my eye was the big signboard. The name “Rasna Vilas Hotel and Restaurant” was written beautifully. Which is easily visible from a distance. As soon as I entered the shop, I saw a simple but beautifully arranged environment. There were wooden chairs and tables to sit inside. A menu was hung on the wall. Where the names and prices of different types of food were mentioned. Which I thought was quite affordable according to the current market.

What food did you buy from the place? Let's know the price.

After going there and sitting inside, I had milk tea and a light snack. In the price list hanging on the wall of the shop, I saw that milk tea costs 10 taka and red tea costs 7 taka. Also, various types of local food including rice, fish, eggs, stews, vegetables, meat are available here. The prices of the food are relatively low and kept within the reach of the common people. What I liked the most is that they try to serve good quality food even at low prices. Even though it is a local hotel, the variety of food here was very wide. For those who want to have a quick meal while traveling. This is really a suitable place.

How did the food taste and look like also can you recommend the food to others, and explain your reason why

The food at this restaurant was very good and had a homely feel. I especially liked the taste of the hot milk tea. A cup of hot tea really soothes the mind after being out for a long time. The food was simple but clean and tidy. My experience was quite good in terms of the atmosphere and the taste of the food. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to others. It offers good quality local food at a low cost and is a comfortable place for people who are tired on the journey. Moreover, it is very convenient for passengers as it is next to the station. Those who like simple but tasty food will definitely like this place.

How was the customer service and environment of the place?

The atmosphere of the hotel was simple but beautiful and lively. There were wooden chairs and tables to sit inside. Being next to the station, there was always a bit of busyness. Some were waiting for the train, while others were preparing to go to their destination after having a quick meal. The whole place had a real-life busyness feel to it, which I liked quite a bit. The staff were also polite and sincere. They were serving food quickly and talking to the customers nicely. Even though it was a simple local hotel, there was an effort to keep it clean. Especially the tables and seating areas were fairly clean.

Do you think the food is worth the price? Why?

I think the food here is quite good for the price. Nowadays, many places charge more for even a small meal, but here you can get good quality food at a relatively low price. This hotel is especially useful for the common man, working class people and train passengers. It is possible to eat a full meal here without spending too much. I think the price here is absolutely right considering the quality, taste and quantity of the food. So in my opinion, the food here is definitely worth the price.

Recommend tips for the restaurant, food vendor, or local eatery to improve.

In my opinion, if the hotel is decorated a little more modernly and some changes are made to the interior, it will become more attractive. Especially if you pay more attention to the wall decoration and lighting, the place will look more beautiful to the customers. Also, if you keep the hand washing area cleaner and pay more attention to hygiene while serving food, it can become more popular. Even so, I think it is a good and popular food hotel at the local level.Finally, I would like to say that the small local businesses around us are an important part of our society and economy. Such hotels not only meet the food needs, but also provide employment to many people. Therefore, we should support local businesses and highlight their good aspects in front of everyone.
