While the original plan was to wait until a future release of project Steem-Roller to implement both SteemKeyChain & SteemConnect functionalities, it seems that the development blitzkrieg today has sided that these additions will make the upcoming launch version. This will likely add a small amount of time to the already behind schedule public launch however it will very likely be worth it once everything is properly implemented and working. Login authentication variety is the spice of life!

Ease of Access & Intuitive Account Handling

A few of the beta testers on the site had voiced their want of an alternative authentication method on project Steem-Roller. While it certainly is going to add some development time to the site it is quite likely that the implementation of these established STEEM network authentication services will help streamline user account handling on site as well as offer respected, well established site access portals to those who prefer to use their STEEM keys to login rather than relying on conventional user/password credentials to secure their Steem-Roller accounts.

Not only will the addition of SteemConnect and SteemKeyChain help with seamless logins but will also allow the great functionality of both these STEEM utilities to be deployed where needed on the site. Network functions such as witness votes and signing messages are a few of the things that we may see come of the usage of these 2 services. In reality it's "slightly" overkill to offer both SteemConnect and SteemKeyChain on site, however given the aim of project Steem-Roller to be THEE go-to service for STEEM gambling and investing for the foreseeable future it's been decided that "too much" functionality simply put isn't a concern...

Development will continue throughout the rest of the day and week assuming that stuff on the site has yet to be implemented and tested. The bug list is slowly getting patched and slowly but surely all functions will be made ready to launch.
