RE: Steemeum | Daily miner and statistics post #74
Mining ? On steem ?
oooookay, please explain me how anyone can mine steem on the blockchain.
Or maybe you talk about a kind of shared trail ? And use the word mining on purpose to lure people?
Please tell me, thx
Also interested how you were validated by #fundition
Steemeum is a virtual mobile miner, users mine time, and get rewards based on there commitment, the first implementation to calculate commitment is to measured there mined time.
More details can be found in the introduction post, or have a look on our website.
Correct me if I am wrong, but there is no such thing as mining on steem blockchain
Mining on steem does not exist.
I read the introduction post, and the word mining is used very often, seemlingly to lure people... OR it is not explained correctly.
What is mined ? the fundition and other peoples vote value ?
It is already explained in detail in the intro post, are you familiar with Electroneum and Phoneum?
The introduction starts in the first sentence with Virtual mobile mining, and this post mentions it as wel in the first sentence.
Our community is aimed at virtual mobile miner enthusiasts, here on Steem and external, and to make it possible for people to get some SBD in a competitive way and to make this possible, We fill the pool with rewards, the users can fill the pool as well, and the users mine time (not newly generated coins), that's why it is a virtual miner, based on proof of time and not proof work (traditional) mining.
That is what I meant, you partially redistribute otherś people money (votes)
Itś not minging.
Luring people
As long as it does NOT generate NW coins, you should not use that word, exscept on purpose of luring, of course.
That's your perception, it's a word used with 1000s of crypto projects, and it can mean several things, and to explain Steemeum is not traditional mining it have the word Virtual in front of it. and it is further explained how it works as well, no luring.
The examples mentioned above also use the word mining in similar ways to explain there apps functions and also work with pre-mined coins. And there are much more variations on mining.
