Better Life: July 29, 2021: We Got Flooded Again Because Of Monsoon Rains

Quite A Rain Today

The Monsoon rains is just wrecking havoc in my province now along with the rest of the main island of my country. It is the rainy season and it is forecasted that this will continue at least until the weekend. But it is the rainy season so I am not expecting for things to change for at least maybe two months or so.

Even if it is not the rainy season we are also experiencing even Typhoons. Now as with the heavy rains today it made the flooring in my rooms and with the two other rooms here in my house to bleed flood waters from the surrounding area. The water table gets high now so if you are using an artesian well pump it is just so easier to pump it because water is so abundant in from the ground.

Actually the flood here inside our house is unusual because in the past years we do not get flooded. So I had already concluded that the climate had changed due to humanity's fault in not addressing the carbon footprint caused by the past and present industries namely those that use fossil fuels.

Well at least people or concerned entities should plant some more tress and plants so that carbon dioxide could get scrubbed from the atmosphere and give us more oxygen. I think in the future living things like people and most in the animal kingdom will succumb to the changing oxygen levels here on earth which will make them shrink some more because in the dinosaur era there is much abundant oxygen in the atmosphere and it made many creatures to grow big, talking about the effects of clean earth in those era.

Anyway I am not ready yet to renovate this house, I have not much funds to throw at it yet and I do not want to be left with a decent house but empty pockets and nothing to cough out if there will be medical emergencies. So I am just praying for this house to hold some more time until I can finally bring my parents in a more safe and secure house.

But it is really not good to always worry when there are storms, typhoons, and heavy rains and it makes me feel that I am miserable but for now at least it is not worse compared to other people who have no homes or with homes submerged fully/partially from the floods because we only get to experience only about 8 inches of submergence although it is bad in itself already.
