Hard to Reach Goals This Year

This has really been a bad year and we are not even half way through it yet. I thought it would be, I turn 65 in September, officially a very old man then. But really, all things have basically gone bad this year, and very few people have not been affected. Of course, every time a bad season is on, there are a few people who actually profit from it, mainly those who are financially secure, for the rest of us it seems the bad will just not go.

This has been true, forever and has always happened, it is just that in my perception, things seem to be coming to a peak this year. I mean for example crypto, it has not been the usual ups and downs it has all been down, its market cap is around half of what it was last year. I bet a lot of people have been losing a lot of money in this field. And I don't see it getting any better. Foolishly I thought this year we would see $150,000.00 Bitcoin, it seems I was wrong.

Then we have wars, there are several of them going on right now. Yes, we have always had wars, but this years wars seem to be so meaningless, the reasons for them are not even comprehensible. So we have had a lot of people dying basically for nothing. And the worse thing is that these wars solve no problems.

And all of this bad is not even taking into account nature. I know we have already had storms and earthquakes in other parts of the World, but here where I live we are just starting the hurricane season, I bet it is going to be a great one.

Well at least we have the World Cup. But even there, I see a lot of bad going on, a lot of changes in the game itself, more centered on making money than on playing the game. I am not liking it.
