This weekend i have managed a couple of half decent rides on my trusty Mountain bike, we have had sunny weather with some wind mixed in.

I haven't been on my bike since i was working in Auckland a couple of weeks back, since being home my only exercise has been 10K + of walking each day.

Yesterday i rode for 2 hours & 10 minutes and covered around 38 kilometers, i went late morning after my morning 3K walk around the block.

Today's ride lasted 2 hours and i covered 37 kilometers under sunny skies, i started this ride at 11.30am so the ride was in the hottest part of the day.

I think i will go again tomorrow to get some more rides in, i do need to get my Mountain bike serviced as i haven't had a service in 3 odd years.

New brakes chuck a new chain at it and get them to adjust the gear selection as sometimes changing gears takes longer than it should.

For dinner tonight at my house we are having a Roast chicken with vegetables & potato, i imagine a garlic bread will also be cooked.

Looking forward to Dinner as i have an appetite now strangely enough.

This has pretty much been my Weekend here in New Zealand, tomorrow is officially the first day of Summer which is what i have been waiting for.
