Four year Steemit Anniversary
I joined Steemit in August of 2016 after learning what Steemit was - i joined and Four years later i am STILL HERE!
How i found out about Steemit was watching youtube videos of Bounce house setups and the author started talking about a place called Steemit..
This is me :)
Steemit in 2016
When i joined we were lucky if we made cents on a post but we still kept on posting as its not always about earning rewards as much as making friends & connections. A couple of Kiwis that were on Steemit i met up with and remain in contact :)
Four years have gone by quickly and i have seen my fair share of drama on Steemit - there is never a dull moment :)
Steemit 2020 & beyond
I am not planning on going anywhere else soon, being asked by @steemitblog to run #spud4steem was a great honor and the plan is to grow it further.
Newbies
I am also part of the Steempod as a Steem greeter which i enjoy as i remember when i started it was great to get some attention from others - that's what i try and do is be welcoming to newcomers

It was quite a long journey. I joined 2 years later and like you rightly stated, it was really difficult to make anything on old steem. But now we have a mee management that cares about everyones success. We can only put hands together to take Steemit to greatest heights. Happy 4 year anniversary @kiwiscanfly

At this time I do not recommend anyone to come to my country. my country is governed by some criminal delinquents.
We are fighting to remove these criminals, once that is achieved, I will gladly invite you to visit my country and host you and your family,
