Roast Pork and Haircut Day

Its Saturday here in New Zealand and we have a sunny sort of overcast day, for Dinner tonight we are going to have Roast Pork & Vegetables - YUM.

Myself and my Partner just went to the Supermarket and got this piece which cost $17.21 in NZD - $12.33 in USD - 2.17kg

To be fair i am not a huge fan of pork i will eat it, but i prefer Steak/Chicken and Lamb over pork, not sure why?

I also got a haircut today which my partner did as we have a set of clippers at home, that saved $20 haha

Here is the pork with some salt on ready to go into the oven, its making me hungry actually

We also got some new biscuits for after dinner which are called Jelly tip, i really love Jelly tip ice creams so it will be interesting to see what these are like?

We have the in laws down this weekend so i am mostly on good behavior, that is good as they haven't seen the kids for a couple of months.

Mrs. Denmarkguy was feeling adventurous today, so we had Japanese style curry... she even made her own roux from scratch. It was most excellent!

Hola amigo kiwiscanfly..me encantó tu cena..aunque aquí en venezuela.ciudad bolivar tambien hace calor , nosotros comemos carne de cerdo más que todo en el mes de diciembre en el guiso de las hallacas y de vez en cuando en el almuerzo..guisado o frito, pero en la cena solamente en navidad..Feliz dia..
