Greetings to all steemians!

I would like to share this photo with you and tell you a little about it.

The photo was taken in the gorge of the northernmost Italian region of Val de Osta, which borders Switzerland.

The villages and small towns are located along the main road that runs from Milan to Val de Osta. It is here in the gorge that the houses are located along the road or in the mountains.

All those who wanted to retire away from the main highway built their houses in the mountains. The air is cleaner there, it is cooler in the summer, there is snow and there is winter.

And there is always the opportunity and the road to get to the outermost house by car, no matter how high it is located.

It is very pleasant to look at the whole picture, but I could never live on top of a mountain. There are very strong winds and it seems that at some point the house can be blown away and fall into the gorge. And there are also very heavy rains and landslides...

That's why I can only admire these beautiful views and prefer to live only on the plain!
