Betterlife - The Diary Game | 25 March, 2026 | Eid vacation diary..

Hello friends, I hope you are all doing well. It has been a long time since I shared a diary entry with you, so I thought I would share some moments from this Eid vacation. It has been about four days since Eid. This year, it felt like the month of Ramadan passed by so quickly—honestly, it never felt that way before.

People who went home for the Eid holidays have slowly started returning to the city, but most are still enjoying their break. As a result, the number of people and vehicles on the road has been very limited. In the morning, I went towards the city area for some work. It was quite difficult to find a vehicle, and the roads were almost completely empty.

After finishing my work, I got off at Bhatiary Bazaar on my way back home. I needed to buy some chicken for the household. Instead of going home and coming back to the market again, I felt it would be more hassle-free to buy them on my way. So, I went to a familiar wholesaler's poultry farm in the market.

There were many chickens of various sizes at the farm. I told the seller I wanted two chickens around 1.5 kg each. He weighed two chickens on a digital scale and packed them in a poly bag for me. Recently, the price of chicken has increased significantly—a hike that started toward the end of Ramadan and still remain. After paying, I headed home.

I could feel the heat rising inside the house. While trying to take some rest after lunch, I realized how hot it was outside. Since my room is directly under the roof, the heat came inside, which makes it quite uncomfortable for me during the summer. I will have to think of a solution for this soon.

To enjoy some cooler weather, I thought about going to Akilpur Beach. I called a local friend to join me, and we reached Akilpur by bike in the afternoon. I decided to head to the far southern side of the beach because the other sections were quite crowded with tourists.

Akilpur is one of my favorite beaches. It is quite long in size and its beauty would fascinate anyone. There are several points on this beach where tourists love to spend quality time, but I went to the extreme south to avoid the crowd.

By then, evening was slowly approaching. I walked carefully toward the rocks on the beach. There were some smooth, flat rocks, and I sat on one of them to enjoy the surroundings. I really love spending this time of day at the beach.

The sea was just a few feet away from me. I was sitting very close to the water, and because of the high tide, the splashes from the waves were occasionally hitting the area around me. I took several photographs and some videos as well. I tried to capture close-up shots of the sea waves. I truly enjoyed spending time there. I stayed at the beach until evening and then returned home.
