My First Attempt at Macro Photography | Close-Up Look at an Ant
Hello friends, I hope you are all doing well. In this post, I am going to share some macro photography that I captured. I am not very experienced in macro photography; this category requires maintaining many technicalities which might make it difficult for newbie like me to get a perfect click.
However, I tried to see if I could take some decent shots. On the terrace of our house, on the railing used for drying clothes, I saw a large ant crawling. Without further delay, I immediately took my phone out of my pocket, switched to the macro lens, and tried to photograph it. This kind of photography requires a lot of patience.
The ant was scurrying back and forth, so I had to struggle quite a bit to take the photos with the macro lens. For this type of photography, it is easiest to focus on a still object. That is why I also tried taking photos from a distance using the telephoto zoom lens. Every limb and part of the ant's body was very clear and easily visible.
I don't think it's possible to see an ant so closely with the naked eye. After taking the photos, I also captured a video of the ant's movement. Since I had to zoom in to record the video, the resolution dropped slightly. I took my time and tried to record the video calmly. Although the results weren't exactly as expected, I am sharing these photos and videos with you as my first attempt.
