Cheers to those who stay!

Kudos to the ones who stayed through when life made no sense..those who held hands prayed for you and with you.

Those who made up their minds that you are not just another person existing in their lives, they made sure to see you with the eyes of blood, beyond friendship!

Supported you in your fallen state,
Yet held you up tight ,
Determined that you must come out of that depression, that trauma, that lust, that habit, that addiction or that secret sin.

They knew all your weaknesses and never picked a stone against you.
They made sacrifices for you just to make sure you are were you are today.

Even when you betrayed them,
They made up excuses for you although it hurts yet they didn't leave, they stayed! They understood, they grew and they loved more.

How does the world view such people?
They may say they are weak for staying, some may say it's foolishness.
But they still stayed!

Hoping that things gets better,
Because they have done the job of watering this hope in their secret place,
waiting to see the results.

They left all while loving you,
Having nothing because they gave all.
Surviving seems to be the only thing left.

Memories flashes like patches of makeup
done halfway
Oh do I smell regret?
Was it worth the sacrifices ?
Hmm you may never know

These ones are just good at what they do.
They are extremist at Love
So it's hurts them to see all go down the drain.
All they have worked on
All they have nurtured
All they have invested upon.

What needless pain they bear
Times they hid and cried for you
Times when the tears was uncontrollable
They stayed!
They believed in you!

They wish to withdraw
They wished to change time
They wished everything was modest
As it should be..

No one understands them
Even you now see them less
Guess what?
They are still rooting for you.
Cheers to them all!!
