When fed she grows
When welcomed she flourish
She doesn't beg for attention
Entering homes as though she owns it
Binding hearts with her touch
Building stories and memories
Oh how pleasant she tells it
Never hating
Always forgiving
Tender care she displace
Unashamed she carries her self
From hearts to the nations.

This is a crazy interesting question, and we most definitely have answers to this question differently
Personally,I open it and also be careful the kind of love that comes into my mind or haert so that when I open my heart ❤️ which is the door,I will not be frustrated

Opening the door entails wisdom. It's so easy to invite frustration when we leap before look. I have always guided my heart for so many years because I was avoiding such things.
I have done ;-)) And it was one of the better decisions in my life ;-)) I don't know if I would open the door again - it was the right person in the right time...
Oh it's sad to know that you did and the outcome was bad.
Bad experience can make us decide never to give love a chance again. But guess what? Love is still the greatest gift of all.
I may not understand how you felt at that time but I know you have grown to be strong, more experienced and better!
