RE: No longer an option
It’s strange, I thought this was an EU directive - that people have to get vaccinated every 10 years. I randomly checked two other countries besides Bulgaria - Spain and Germany, and vaccination every 10 years is required (or recommended - I’m not sure) there as well. I don't know if adults have immunity, rather, it is said that even if you have had the vaccine, its effectiveness wanes over time - even after 4 or 5 years, if an accident occurs, injections are still required. All in all, I don't see much point in the vaccine. All the more so because the possibility of contracting it cannot be ruled out, but it is virtually almost impossible in day-to-day life.
Unfortunately, I wouldn't travel all the way to China. 🙂 In my view, different continents aren't the best fit for everyone - at the very least, in terms of climate and living conditions. There is no way for me to know how well my organism would handle the conditions there.
With us vaccinations end in average at 12 years old if you visit highschool. There was a time after a bite or rusty pin they said you should take a tetanus shot. Just this one nothing else.
Now they also have shots for girls and by now Boys as well to prevent womb cancer or so. It is free choice of you go or ignore.
Children with us being not vaccinated are able to visit school unlike in Hungary.
Might be in the future since the invasion of foreigners bring diseases we haven't dealt with for decennial.
We also learned the older you get the more diseases and therefor higher immune system.
Next to that sick people or those with allergies and chronic diseases are fewer injected simply because every shot is an attack on the immune system putting it at work unnecessary.
No way within the EU every country works the same.
