Waiting for the next fraudulent Ponzi scheme
Another Ponzi financial scheme in Bulgaria, the country where all scams and scammers flourish (for reference: One^Coin ), was busted. This time courtesy of the media. Again, of course, the publicity on TV was given not to those poor and defrauded people who lost all their money, but to those who lied to people and received money from the pyramid scheme... up to a point. Of course, they cry the most, looking for justice and compensation for the invested funds, while the rest of the time they actually received enough money.
But whatever.
The people, the common people, the victims of the scam, the innocent... well, wait, do we even have innocent people when we talk about pyramid schemes? From my point of view, in such a financial tragedy, all parties are to blame. Even those who have fallen into this trap. Because the ordinary and poor people in Bulgaria never understood that no one wants to give them anything, no one wants to make them rich for free, no one considers them so beautiful, valuable and deserving that they bequeath their money or provided them with easy lifetime earnings at the click of a mouse (and some initial funds to be invested).
I have observed so many financial scams so far that thrive on fb. They all started the same way. The same type of profiles - of middle aged aunties, even older aunties who look miles away that they are not very smart "but have knowledge of crypto" and do some complex things on complex sites with ease, ie. if they can, then anyone can, flood certain groups with the same type of posts for big and easy profits online. If someone asks for more information, they say they will give it to them in a Telegram group, nothing more happens on FB. After a few months, however, these posts were all deleted because another scheme was exposed and busted. After a while, the next one appears in the same way, and so on, etc. to infinity.
I really want to know what happened to the capital of that woman whose husband last summer offered me to invest in a similar scheme - I wrote about it here then. I listened with apparent interest to what he was telling me, I asked him several times for the name of the company, and when I got home I looked it up on the Internet to judge for myself what he was talking about, and with great difficulty I found a site that could be accessed only after being invited by another person. But this same scheme was exposed and busted this year, so I'm interested to know now what happened to this woman. I told my partner that I would immediately ask this man if I saw him anywhere, and he replied that it is not polite to ask such questions. I don't think so, since he tried to get me involved anyway, on behalf of his wife, though he may not have known it was a bad thing at the time.
So, another fraudulent scheme has been busted now. It may not have been just a simple financial scheme. Even celebrities, athletes and public figures have been involved as advertisers. Our most successful athlete, who is involved, justified himself that he is not a financier and does not understand finance, this company simply sponsored him as an athlete (because our state does not give money for sports anyway). Everyone justified this young man immediately, even me, and his involvement here was forgotten in an instant, because our country sucks and doesn't care about anything, so the athletes have to take care of themselves to survive in this fucking conditions.
Then I thought of One^Coin and Ru^ja Ignatova, our most brilliant con artist, and wondered how many famous people were involved in her schemes. I've told you before that she was even businesswoman of the year and only notables and politicians were in her circle, people who now pretend they didn't know her for sure.
Now I wonder how many of them have lost their money in her schemes, but of course they won't admit it. And are there winners among them too? Maybe that's why TV's in Bulgaria avoid talking about these topics, because the schemes and connections are very complicated and there are always famous people and politicians involved in these ugly dramas, in which the poorest, lied people are the most affected, who, as I said, in my opinion, are not innocent because they are ignorant, and ignorance is the cause of guilt.
Ignorance is the reason why people waste their hard-earned and saved money, if at all, on casino roulette or betting it in online casinos, invest it in dubious online businesses, or throw it out the window after talking to phone scammers, despite the constant warnings and instructions of the police and the media, what to do and not to do in such cases.
It doesn't matter who says what, warns or instructs. People do the same thing, all the time. So now they are probably waiting for the new fraudulent Ponzi scheme to put their last money there and lose it.
What a unique atmosphere and conditions for scams to flourish here!

Soul's Detour is a project started by me years ago when I had a blog about historical and not so popular tourist destinations in Eastern Belgium, West Germany and Luxembourg. Nowadays, this blog no longer exists, but I'm still here - passionate about architecture, art and mysteries and eager to share my discoveries and point of view with you. |
Personally, I am a sensitive soul with a strong sense of justice.
Traveling and photography are my greatest passions.
Sounds trivial to you?
No, it's not trivial. Because I still love to travel to not so famous destinations.🗺️
Of course, the current situation does not allow me to do this, but I still find a way to satisfy my hunger for knowledge, new places, beauty and art.
Sometimes you can find the most amazing things even in the backyard of your house.😊🧐🧭|
ponzi thrives everywhere but there's some explanation why that would thrive the most in allegedly one of the most corrupted eu countries. i hope you don't fall for such scams
Well, everyone wants to have high profit with just one click of the mouse or little invested money. I admit that I did quite a bit of research on all these seemingly genuine schemes a few months ago, only to find that they only looked like that. I hope I never fall into that trap either 😄
On the other hand, we can even put aside the corruption of the state because it is the people who do the stupid things. Or it is because of the impossible living conditions they are placed in, with low wages and high prices, and they risk and gamble everything, in the hope that they will win something...
Yes, maybe everything starts from the state really. 🤔
Yes, too good isn't good.
Everything starts with greed, I think. We don't need so much to live proper lives. It's the people, not the state, I'd say.
