This article is just like my inner thoughts!
When I read this story, I saw a lot of similiarities between Bulgaria and Nigeria.
I can boldly say it’s not easy with you and I understand this feeling.
Starting from your background, I think everyone are just influenced by their environment and society. The people you grow up with have a lot of role to play in your life. It affect your thoughts and action.
So I won't say it’s your fault if you hold on to their norm at first...., the good thing is that you have been exposed to development, great ideas and values and you have a great option of making a choice.
Here in Nigeria, you pay for everything wether you are a civil servant or not. I know that's not normal, but that's the society we find ourselves in.
It's sad, that things are not going too well..., I am wishing you a better times and I hope your heart desires would be granted.
I wish I could mark this with such calmness and maturity as you, because it is simply an immutable fact. I wish I hadn't wasted so much time rebelling and jumping against reality. But what to do, apparently this is just fate and I have no reason to regret it either.
Sometimes I think parents are not the best people to raise their children lol. Because they grew up and were formed in some other era, long gone, out of touch with reality. But a person must constantly change to adapt to the changes in the world, and precisely the first 7 years, what you learned and assimilated then and that formed you as a person, are the most difficult to change, if not to say absolutely impossible.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for the wonderful wish!
We here say in response: May it return to you!, i.e. I wish you the same! 😊
