SteemFest Update: Bowing Out Gracefully
Hey guys! Thanks for all the support thus far! 💖 As SteemFest draws excitingly near I've realized it doesn't look like I'll be able to afford the trip. You guys have been amazing with all the upvotes! But, the current low value of steem means that a larger portion of payouts are paid in steem, which is understandable, making it harder to convert to steem dollars and undesirable to sell. I believe in this platform, which is why I have been powering up. But the side effect of all of this means it's not currently possible to fund a trip like this through SteemIt. Thanks again for all your support, lovelies!✨

I continue to work on the SteemIt.City, Steemprentice, SteemIt Japan, and a few other projects you'll be hearing about in the coming weeks. For some reason, flights to Siem Reap, Cambodia are cheaper for me than flights to Amsterdam. ~( '.' )~
