Im so tempted to go!, i was invited to a wedding it Poland past month but i couldn't go, so now i really want to go and meet that country!
It would be great to meet up there. Hope you can make it
I think you'd spend more on polish beer than travel expenses
I am hoping to make it to something in the States eventually if they ever have something close to me. I was telling my wife about Steemfest and Steem Camp the other day and she said "oh that could be fun". My biggest fear is that I am not as like-able in person as I am behind the keyboard :) Sitting here offers some comfort and reduces the awkwardness of being in a social situation!

It's worth getting to an event just for the discussions you can have. Have you looked at @steemitworldmap? You can see if anyone is blogging near you

When you went to Lisbon did you stay at the hotel where the event was held? Is it best to do that if you can or doesn't it matter much?
Which hotel has @teamhumble booked?
I stayed at one of the official hotels that was very handy. It's just convenient to be close by. The coaches departed from there to the venues.
OK. Thanks @steevc. I'll take another look at them both. The cheaper one has nicer rooms by the looks of it but the one where the events are has free boat trips! Although I'm not sure how many of those I'd take considering it will be cold! 😁
If I go to one, it will be this one. The Germany one sounds good, but the timing is bad for me. @bingbabe says she will come too if I go.

I've always wanted to be involved in things like this. There's a certain quality that can elevate a friendship or relationship that was primarily online when you meet in person.
Hopefully, one day, I'll be able to afford to do something like this.

yeah it's gonna be a bit tough to get there... but we shall see.
I hope you can make it, it is of course easier for Europeans to go, shorter trip and of course cheaper than for people from other parts of the world.
Flights from here are only about £50, plus whatever extras they add, plus parking :)
Have you looked at your finances yet haha...are you doing?
I think it's possible. I made something from the Byteball promotion too, so that may help. I don't want to power down too much SP to pay for my trip
