My Consistency Fitness Challenge #1: Introduction and My fitness Activities
Fitness works well when we are consistent. So long as we eat everyday and we face different challenges in life, there is need to create time for fitness activities. We may not be willing or there may not be time for it. Even the motivation.ay not be there. But it takes determination and a motivator to be able to take up fitness challenge and remain on it. The benefits are enormous.
Hence, I have decided to challenge myself each day of the week to do something that will help me. The minimum days we can exercise is 3 days in a week. And that is the minimum I can go in a week. However, I can go more days in a week than the 3 days but for the purpose of my update, I will report 3 days each time I am reporting. Consistency is the key and as such, If I can go for at least 3 days in a week, I am consistent.
I am going to report my consistency fitness challenge for the days indicated below 👇👇👇
Day #1 - 8/01/2026
On this day, I concentrated more on my lower body. I did 480 reps of stem up using the steps in my house. The step is 12 in number and I did 40 on each of the steps. I needed to get my cardio in shape as I had skipped my fitness routine for some days due to travels. But starting with this program really helped me a lot.
It was dark when I began and considering the fact that I was using the staircase, I couldn't record the video when I was actually doing the program but I recorded my sweaty face and included other programs. The video is here below.
I also did other programs before I concluded for the day. I started by 6 am and concluded by 7.30 am. It was really great! I felt lighter compared to how I was feeling before I started.

Day #2 - 9/01/2026
On this day, I saw the local dumbbells I had asked a bricklayer to help me with before I travelled. It was to use the cement mixture for block molding to fill the 75 cl water bottle so that it can solidify inside. Each of those dumbbells weighed 1.5 if though I weighed them 2 days later.
When I started on this day, I began with step up using those steps also. I completed the same reps that I did on the day before before going over to use the dumbbells for jumping jacks. I did 550 jumping jacks using those dumbbells on each of my hands. Then I also did squats, jump squats, plank shoulder taps, pressup and more.
In the end, I was sweating profusely. It feels so good to sweat out after work out. It shows that the result is achieved. Moreover, I started feeling pains on my arm muscles. Yes, it was difficult for me to do pressup. I think the reason could be that my arms can't carry my body. But I believe that with consistency, I am going to increase the number of reps. I was only able to do 6 pressups this day. My son joined me this day and we did great. The video I have attached can attest to my activities.

Day #3 - 10/01/2026
I travelled to Akwaibom State on this day for my educational program. I passed the night in a friend's house but I still continued with my workout. I did skipping with rope a d I did 1000 skips. One set of about 150 reps which is the highest. The lowest 8 did per set of 88. But on the whole, I achieved that 1000 skips. Amazing 😍! Isn't it? It was very dark and I couldn't record when I was actually doing the skipping.
Then I added other programs like squats, crunch, and more. It was amazing how I have been pushing myself to keep up with my consistency fitness challenge programs. The video below can tell you what I did on that day.

I am not giving up yet. I am continuing because consistency is the process. As much as possible, I am doing it daily but I may skip some days if I have urgent needs to attend to. So, I will keep updating you. It will be great if you also follow me to challenge yourself. Let's do it if you can. You will leave to tell the testimony. @okere-blessing @alli001 @kidi40 @genomil and others.
