So, as I said I made a sell order but didn't receive my SBD in my account. My points just dissappeared.

I checked logs.
you got an upvote before creating any sell order and that upvote used that points.
I'm sure Market is good and safe enough for all users.
we had ~20 Trade in market, and all of them was without error.
Don't worry. I can say, you won't lose any Points in Steemfollower.
