The race track is fired up as the asphalt has been warmed through by raging and racing cars that are just not letting go of each others tails. This is one of the hottest races ever witnessed this season and we are tuned to it. Rez is really going for the finish line while the Pirate is strongly behind him and threatening to woosh past Rez. Blood flushed with anxiety, Rez navigates a right turn at a very late time and is sent slamming sideways into the race track sides and this was a chance the pirate was not going to lose. The pirate dashes past and is almost nose deep at the finish line and Rez feels that all hope is lost. He then remembers he has not used his power up. He rears his hand on the button and slams it on it. He’s propelled forward faster than his tires can roll and brushes past the Pirate into the finish line leaving behind him a trail of fire.

Sorry, I got carried away with my imaginary commentary job. How are you all doing?

If you are a lover of adrenaline rush and races, this is just the game for you.

This is a kart racing game that’s as addictive as it looks. The game is filled with a lot of power ups at certain parts of the race tracks that contain performance boosts and weapons that can be used in improve your chances of winning. Like every other racing game, the goal is to become the first and win three stars - that is, in the career stage.

GAMEPLAY

The game, after installing, requires players to start out racing in a single mode - career mode- as all other modes will be locked pending your progress in the single player mode and subsequent progresses in other already unlocked modes. This also affects the Karts you can use as you have to start out with just one car which is the Beach Buggy car. You can upgrade the performance of the kart with monies earned and you can buy the other cars if you have enough coins to buy. You also start out with just a choice of player -REZ- and as you progress and win players in the career mode, each defeated player will join your race teams and their own personal attributes will be yours.

The tracks are laden with shortcuts although they are however hard to notice unless you notice a player use them or stumble into them yourself. I played this game for days before even knowing there was a short cut somewhere in every track

You also get to play other modes like Championship where you use a single car and race through a number of tracks where winning is by points, Daily challenge where you will be tasked to win races at some difficulty, quick race and Split screen (Here’s where you might have to pay as the multi-player option is not free, you need to unlock it by paying actual money)

GRAPHICS

You’ll agree with me that the mother of all awesomely beautiful games is in the graphics. Since I have installed this game, I have not had a single glitch or seen an error in the designs. I even pushed the picture quality to the highest and the performance was just as good as before.

IN-APP PURCHASES

Apart from the fact that well over $4 will be required to unlock the multiplayer version on each phone, You can also buy coins and gems with money if you are not patient enough to earn them through game playing. One of the beautiful things is there’s no ad popping up and slamming into ones face when ones data is on.

Ideally, This game is a nice game for anyone wishing to try out their hands on something other than real like racing simulation games like Real racing, Asphalt and Ned for speed. To me, this game is more than amazing and just does so well in keeping me engaged as the AI players compete actively with me despite being at my fastest for the finish line. I do not suppose anyone likes when their victories in games come easy.
