New condenser for STEEM blockchain: Steemgigs.org

Hello guys Anidel here a.k.a ankarlie. There is a new Steem condenser in town and its name is STEEMGIGS. Many of you might have been well aware of this since @surpassinggoogle has been posting in Steemit about this portal for some time now and it has come to fruition. I have tested the portal and I must say for an alpha release it looks awesome. My friends and fellow steemians are trying the portal now and excited to discover what is it all about. I myself have been wondering what STEEMGIGS is and I must say this is what I have been waiting for in Steem.

What is steemgigs?

"Everyone has something to offer" that is the tag line I always hear when it comes to STEEMGIGS and in that portal everyone has the chance to offer their services or products and you can set the conditions and terms of payment. For example I have been offering help to my fellow Filipino steemians in cashing out their rewards from SBD wallet to where they can receive Fiat. I have been doing that for some quite some time now and I thought of advertising it on STEEMGIGS as it is a service albeit it is FREE. Some might find this task trivial but believe me a lot of them need assistance on this. I could have charge a small fee per transaction I make but decided to make it free as my way of giving back to the Steemit community who have been generally been very good to me.

It must be noted that your post on STEEMGIGS will also be posted in Steemit.com similar to other condensers since it is also build on top of the STEEM blockchain. That is one of the unique things about STEEMGIGS unlike other similar portals your post here will earn you something if the people upvotes your post.

To enter the site you have to use your credentials from Steemit similar to Utopian, Busy or any other condenser. Once you are inside the site you will see something like this.

You can either make a post about a product or service you offer by clicking on the "+ create" button located on the upper right side of the main dashboard or you may want to create a custom request for a service or product by clicking on the "post custom request" button located on the left of the main dashboard.

Creating a Post for a Service YOU offer

To create a post for a service you plan to provide you have to click on the "+ create" button located on the upper right side of the main dashboard. Once you click that you will be brought to this page where you will have to state the Title of your service.

It is also in this page where you will be able to set the categories of your service. This is equivalent to the tag of your post in steemit.com once you are done you may proceed to the next window by clicking on the "save and proceed" button .

The next page ask you to describe what service or product you offer. This is were you explain to your prospective customer and fellow in detail what is your service or product. You can also insert here FAQ. Once you are done with the description of your service or product you may proceed by clicking on the "save and proceed" button .

This page will were you discuss your requirements to be able to effectively deliver the service or product you offer. Once you are done stating your requirements you may proceed by clicking on the "save and proceed" button .

The next page will ask you to upload a portfolio , it maybe a picture or video of your previous works or a logo of your service or something that will be descriptive or representative of the service or product you are offering. Since this will be posted in the STEEM blockchain you will have to set the rewards you want to get from your post. You may choose 100% SP, 50/50 SBD-SP or decline rewards. You will also be given an option to upvote your own post. After setting the required parameters you may proceed by clicking on the "save and proceed" button .

The last page is just a preview of your post. If there are necessary changes that has to be made you may do so by clicking on the "Back" button. If you are satisfied with your post you may publish it by clicking on the "Post #steemgig" button and you will be directed to the main dashboard of STEEMGIG where you can see your post in a tiled format display.

Once you click on the tiled display of your post you will be brought the a page that looks similar to this one.

Creating a post for a service or product that YOU require

If you cannot find the service or product you seek in the search engine of Steemgigs you may create a post that details a service or product that you require. You can do this by clicking on the "Post custom request" button located on the left of the main dashboard as shown below:

Once clicked it will bring you to a page that looks like this:

In this page you will have to input the title of your job request, the description, its category time requirements and budget for the job. When you are done you may continue to the next page to review your post.

If there are no more changes to be done with your post you may publish it by clicking on the "Post #steemgig" button. This post will also be posted in it Steemit.com

Potential of STEEMGIGS

As you can see STEEMGIGS is quite a powerful platform to use for finding and posting service and product offerings. The limitations are limited only by your imagination how to utilize and leverage the condenser. Albeit this is still in alpha it is very usable. I am excited for new development of this condenser and will be keeping an eye on this one. Go ahead and explore as you can contribute on its development by reporting bugs and suggesting features. I have checked github and there are some repositories that has the name of the Steemgigs I am not sure if they are official repositories but if it is, you know you can contribute and get rewarded via Utopian.
