Although the world of manufacturing is and will surely continue to be dominated by 3D printing, there are still those who prefer the use of other types of machines that allow a better accuracy on stronger and more complex materials, that's why today I want to share with you a machine that I love because it works with an open code that allows us to modify it and programs the best way we want and because it is also able to offer a great accuracy on any physical surface.
FabKit Mk5 is basically a laser engraving and cutting machine that uses CO2 to power a laser able to go through and make engravings on any material. What I like most about this machine is that it has a very large compatibility in terms of formats and software which makes it an excellent alternative for those who are constantly looking to improve their manufacturing system.
It should be noted that this machine can even be used from our phones, and is also fully portable thanks to its compact size and lightweight.
