I have an early version of Vegas Pro, I am still learning to use the software, but what I like about Vegas is that you do not need a subscription, you can buy the software and use it forever, plus it has (to me) reasonable prices for all the power and features you may be accustomed to with Final Cut or other expensive softwares.
