Backpacks and other suitcases are commonly used in our daily life. Whether we are going to University, office, business meeting or somewhere outstation. Now with the help of technology no need to waste the energy by keeping the stuff in hand etc. Follow me is the most advanced technology which helps you to go anywhere with charm. With 0% raised out of £537,914 goal and 2 months left, I don't think, this kickstarter project will meet its goal. The product technology sounds awesome, but the cost seems to be pretty higher to me. I don't think, common people will prefer to buy it and instead prefer take their luggage themselves. And the price you told is just for the small size, its even higher for bigger sizes.
At first glance this really sounds cool but if you keep digging you just find some major flaws this brings. For example I imaging theft could be a big problem with this technology since if someone wants to steal your back he/she now doesn't even need to rip it out of your hands and adding up to that you most likely will not pay that much attention to it after a while since you know it is supposed to follow you. If we are taking that thought further scrolling through the details this looks quite easy to hack (either follow someone other than the owner or just let it stop and wait until the owner is far enough away for you to safely grab it).
And their statement that should make them look environmental friendly is just complete BS in my opinion since it just do not make any sense that this small suitcase in any way be an alternative to the trunk (either you are using the car or not):

Nice idea, and potentially clever tech, but I agree with @elleok, these would be a theif's dream - just pick them off at will.
And who would trust the tech enough to just walk along, without a care in the world and assume your bag is still following you? Probably something you'd only do once - as it wouldn't be there when you eventually turned around, so you wouldn't be so naive again!
I'd also love to see the look on security's faces at the airport, when a crowd of people walked on by with their bags following obediently behind.
Which leads nicely into my last point...imagine if these do get funded, become a reality and are really popular. Every airport, busy bus, underground or train station would be a tangled nightmare of robotic chaos!
I do applaud the tech, and the idea to a degree, but I just can't see these being practical, at all. Sorry. Nice hunting though :)
They are a reality already. Several are available already.we have seen multiple of those here on Steemhunt and I even hunted the auto-following bot for the German postal company.
As for security, yes grabbing them is an issue but you would also expect them to have solid smartlocks.
You and @elleok are right though, but that's a good thing because it will result in new implementations such as loud alarms when travel too far from sensor it follows.

had my eye on this for a boost which i just but to notice the campaign hasn't been funded

It's an active campaign. It's only not funded finished campaigns which get delisted.

Advantages:-
(1) With "follow me" backpackers and traveler will find it lot more easier than before.
(2) It will make stress free and hassle free when it comes to carrying suitcase or bag.
(3) It will feel more organized.

Backpack is a great product that always follows its owner. I don't think you'll have to lift the head of the airport anymore. But I have a question. Even if you weigh a lot in your bag, you can move like a video. That would be great if there were no problems.
Cool idea, but the price looks like quite expensive.
No additional protection like waterproof, flameproof, etc, so I don't think majority of people will buy it. If they can improve it and make this suitcase to fly, then the price is ok from my opinion.
This is a great concept, a suitcase that you don't need to lift a finger on it. But my worry is that in a crowded situation, would someone pick it up and carry it away? You know our cities are not that safe, there are thieves everywhere.
