@binitus, this was what caught my eye!
This system can handle a continuous 1100 watts of renewable energy input from sources up to 150v DC.
for 4.5K $USD =) it's quite nice! It has a battery, inverter, controller and can all be packaged into a case! Bookmarked and heavily considered for the first option into getting myself into somewhere in New Zealand where there is internet but no Power!
