Please, for the love of god, stop microwaving your water. Get an electric kettle. It is faster and better. The Japanese toaster company Balmuda has a kettle that not only works great, but looks amazing on your countertop. It has a set power base and a simple LED indicator, and it is remarkably lightweight. I’ll say it again: If you drink tea or use fancy coffee-brewing contraptions, an electric kettle is a must.
