This software suite is a beast to say the least. From the words of Alex Lx Wilson (Comix)

Resolume 6 is utterly mind blowing. It’s like they have read everything the community wanted and just did it :-D

As a visual artist myself, one who has been using Resolume since its 3rd iteration, I can definitely agree that 6 is a huge upgrade especially for those new to the scene

I don't know about everyone else but there were so many things that I wanted to do with this software when I first discovered it that are only now possible with this latest version

While they've finally added color midi feedback features, as well as easy grouping/masking of layers, the most notable upgrade would have to be the new rendering engine, which now makes the program fast enough to swap decks mid set

You can also now animate envelopes which allow the user to use Resolume as a make shift motion graphics program to further alter your set live on the fly
