Organise your Steem posts into chapters of a book!

Description

Organise your posts into a book on the blockchain. Chapters can be your Steem posts or held only within Dbooks. It might only be every 5th post for you, but you can organise them into flowing chapters for anyone to read from start to finish.

Dbooks has an easy to click on library down the side, and collects your favourites for you to read later. As a writer you can create a pen name, images are included in the posts and you can create a book cover to grab people's attention. The best part about Dbooks is that your valuable posts won't get lost in the sea of content that is the Steem blockchain.

Dbooks does take 20% of rewads, but I'm not exactly sure how to upvote chapters or entire books yet. I'll have to investigate further.

Oh wow this is such a great project!

It's pretty amazing. I've actually refrained from posting some stuff, until I got more followers... but now I could make it a book and it all becomes part of a package deal.

I am super excited about this new application on steemit. I will be doing some curating for it starting next week as I see a few members have already started posting in the tag.

Thanks for this post. The more we spread the word, the more people may come and start posting to the tag.

It's really good! I wish the interface was a little bit nicer, but I'm sure the boys will work on it more as it goes along.... I think this can add a huge amount of value to the blockchain, I'm really excited!

This is a great idea, but I think you'll find that 20% fee leaves a bad taste in your users' mouths.

Yeah, you're right of course... although @dtube does the same, and people still seem to use it a lot. I think the balance comes with the big upvotes these apps give their own users. Easier for @dtube obviously since Steem delegated them some power, but yeah, I understand completely. I did completely rethink if I wanted to even use @dbook.org since 20% is a lot... but it catalogs so nicely.

I still don't really understand what they'd be taking 20% of... each post in a chapter? Book rentals? It's not clear.

@dbooks.org is interested in rewarding its users even after the 7 day payout period might have lapsed. For now, the 20% has a sharing formular. There has been debates on the sharing method to use and we have decided to come up with a formular which would be explained in our next update post. Later, when we begin to receive delegations, in a bid to incentivize our delegators (if they are interested- the option would be made available), we would have to adjust the sharing formular.
The 20% is gotten from each post in a chapter.

Thanks @timoshey for clarifying. We all really appreciate it! Communication is key!
I don't 100% understand what you mean with your formula, but I really look forward to your next post. I think this is a great app and can bring a lot of value to the blockchain, so I can't wait to see how it all goes!
