Who Do I Follow on Steem & Why?

It is always good and important to let people know how you feel about them especially while they are alive. If someone matters to you or if someone is important to you and/or has affected your life positively, it is pertinent that you let them know. You never can tell, it could cheer them up and encourage them to do more good.

In view of the above, Wayne Gerard noted that;

Coming to Steem, I follow about about 202 persons so far and I have various reasons for following each of these persons. Some I follow because of the personal relationships with have off the platform, some because they have affected through the communities we belong, some because of their quality content creation on the platform, some because of their investments and how passionate they are about promoting steem and many more reasons.

For the sake of the initiative, I'll discuss why I follow a few persons on Steem below:

He has to be the first person I talk about because this great man has affected my Steem Journey the most courtesy of theamazing community he started - SteemChurch. The Steemchurch community is a Christian community that places value on christian faith, family and freedom. @SirKnight is indeed a passionate leader with good intentions, he gets joy when he see things going well with other persons. One other intriguing thing about him is the fact that he has a large heart to accommodate as many persons as he can.

Because of him, I now have a family on the Steem platform where we look out for each other and encourage one another. I could remember when I had difficulties paying my tuition fees, I did not have where to run to, I made an appeal in the community and within the twinkling of an eye, funds was being raised for me and I was able to pay my fees. That was really a turning point in life; seeing people I never knew from adams have my back.

Aside from steem, with the help of @sirknight, I have been able to have several opportunities on other platforms such as Telos and Peeranha. For this reason and more, I follow him and will always.

@Darlenys01 - SteemChurch Leader/ SteemChurch Venezuela

This is another person that has impacted upon my life. She is passionate about humanity and has special affinity and love for children. She puts more interest in things that add value to life and people. As a result of this, she has embarked on several projects so as to affect lives for goo. Through her many life-changing projects, I have been encouraged and motivated to do more good in life.

Currently, she is running a project called 'Bread From Heaven' where she ensures that children in Venezuela are being catered for considering the bad state of the economy there. She possesses really great leadership qualities of which I have learnt from. More so, she is a woman of God who shares deep insights on the word of God. She is indeed the mother of the crowds.

@Theycallmedan - Steem Investor and Promoter

Another personality I follow on Steem is this awesome man known as @theycallmedan. Over the few days I have been on the platform, he is one of the generous, philanthropic and astute promoter of steem I have met. Taking a diligent and careful look at his activities on the platform, I have learnt many things about life and investments. He is an avid lover of steem; this love for Steem has made him to indulge in steem promotion at the slightest chances as well as compeling others to do same. @theycallmedan in the quest to promote Steem has successfully set up several steem initiatives. Also, he is one that encourages good content creators on the platform via upvotes.

Another reason I follow @theycallmedan is the fact that he is an investor on the steem blockchain. Without the investors and people like him on the platform, curation/ upvotes value will make no sense at all. Also, he is been able to come up with an amazing video platform @threespeak, where video makers can earn while sharing their videos. Above all, he is a prolific writer and I enjoy reading his blogs.

@Surpassinggoogle - Certified Ulogger

This is another person I follow; he is really a nice and kind-hearted person which has the zeal and passion to reward content creators on the platform He has come up with several initiatives such as #ulog, #steemgigs, #untalented and now the #marlians token. He loves to engage on the platform and with the introduction of these initiatives like ulog, many steemians get to be active content creators with the tag. He is one of the few persons that makes very long publications on the platform and I also enjoy reading his articles.

More so, he is an active promoter of Steem, he uses several social media to constantly promote steem and encourage more persons to join. Because of his passion for steem, he was able to come up with a website with a steem front-end. Some years back, he was one among the big stakers on the platform but due to certain challenges he encountered, he had to power down to meet those challenges. I do hope he comes back stronger again.

Getting noticed by the Steemstem community could be a very hard ordeal but with his help and mentorship, I achieved that. He is a lover of science and passionate about logic. He is a great teacher also and a very good mentor. More so, he creates and posts quality science articles.

@Uyobong - Steem Blogger

Still on the list of my following is @uyobong. I did not just know on this platform but I knew him off the platform. I follow him because he is one with a drive to succeed. He is a motivator, teacher, singer, song writer, research and data analyst and I have really learnt a lot from him. He believes so much in Steem and I hope he finds that breakthrough he needs.

There are several other persons I follow such as @clixmoney, @lemouth, @acidyo, @jaynie, @taskmaster4450, @carlos84 etc and I do so because they are good community builders, quality content creators and good steem ambassadors.

To all the above mentioned, I like you to know that someone is constantly watching you all and really loves what you do. You all have impacted me in one way or other and I hope you continue to give in your very best.
