This is getting really annoying... Some of them wont send you their spams if you stop following them, but some will regarding you follow them or not, and muting wont work either... Is there a way of stopping this spam?
Calling attention to it and flagging the users to lower reputation and ultimately their permitted bandwidth might work. Maybe a little drastic for some users.
I personally follow the links this post generates and add users to the "abusers" list. Those users are obviously just creating annoying spam.
