Vitamin Deficiencies of a Celiac Person

Auto-immune diseases are very common in the American lifestyles these days. I can only speak on my perspective because I am in no way a doctor. I can only share what my experiences are as a person with Celiac disease. It can cause a lot more problems than the modern healthcare system understands. Celiac disease can mask other auto-immune diseases. A lot of people are given the run around from doctor to doctor only to have "symptoms" treated, never to fully understand why they are sick.

Almost all people have some sort of deficiency. Our chemical make-up is really up to our environment of what we consume and heredity of our parents. So if most people consume lots of toxic food, they are more likely to have more sickness. These people are more prone to have multiple vitamin, mineral, and hormone deficiencies. In my case, even though I eat healthy, I do not absorb because of the Celiac disease. My small intestine does not efficiently bring in the nutrients that my body needs to maintain positive health. I can tell when my vitamins are not working because I start to have flair ups in nerve pain throughout my body.

Every person should take supplements of some sort to make up from the terrible diets most people eat in todays society. I repeat, I am in no way a doctor and only reflecting my experiences. I take a handful of vitamins and minerals everyday at high rates just so my body will absorb a small percentage.

All these in some way help a function of my body to stay healthy. I hope that my experiences can help others understand the importance of the awareness of auto-immune diseases. We all deserve to be healthy, happy, and free people.
