What do you like to read about, I want the truth and nothing but the truth, tell me what you like and tell me what you don't as I need to focus on a route I am going to go instead of darting off in different direction. I am asking because you are the best people on here and I know I will get the truth and helped in the right direction.

When I look at it I can see that some people do not vote for you 100% they can do that no problem but then you do not vote for them. Vote for youself when you write with them and they will learn.
I did that with you in my comment earlier you voted for me 100% and see what happened.

When I told my good friend @ramta that I did not know what to write about here on Steemit he told me to start comment on other peoples post and vote when they did reply.
So I did exactly that. I could not belive what started to happen. I have been treated so nicely by my fellow Steemians and have made a lot of Steem Power.
To this day I have not been writing one singel blog-post, only comments and reply. I have 250 followers and a lot of Steem Power.

I'm new here and still looking for my place. I realized that I don't know what to write about.
I literally writing my introduction since two weeks now.:) There is always something to say than I realize that it might not be interesting, so I delete a part, than write another and this goes on and on since two weeks... I got a little frustrated at the end. I posted only a few pictures but that doesn't help too much to the community.
So I decided to calm down, and write comments on posts I am interested in and where I can help, I do. I already gained like 20 followers! Wow!
But I couldn't imagine what you're just saying that it can become beneficial in the long run to write only comments!
Is it really the way you made your wealth on steemit?

So I have to say something to @karenb54: Karen, you should compare your content with the content of others. You should take your time to read other people's content very carefully and comment it with deep relastion to their content. So they will get attention to your content after some time, too. Dear @barbro, by chance I found this conversation. It is very interesting for me because of several reasons.
First I'm glad to see you and @ramta voting always with 100%. That's the same I always did. And it's the opposite of the behaviour of nearly all others. That's great. I think the reason to vote only 100% for you and me may be similar.
Second, it is amazing to see you in the discussion with @karenb54. You hit the crutial point - is it about money??
I came into steemit because of ONE reason: I wanted to publish my content. And i'm glad if anybody reads or comments it. This should be the one and only reason to be here.
In the beginning, my posts were low valued. But this was a promotion for me to become better. And so I spent much time on reading other's people posts and I saw many great authors. I mean the most important thing is to bring out very good content. And of course content that matches my own convictions. A few days ago I read a post of @sift666. He committed that he sometimes thought about publishing contents that pays more, but at the end he decided to be true to himself. Isn't that great?

I don't think my advice is anything really helpful, because it has always looked to me like the people who pick a pretty narrow subject and stick with it do better than most.
Here's the problem: I like reading almost every subject you write about. I think I would be disappointed if you got "stuck in a groove" and only chose one thing to write about.
So, maybe you shouldn't listen to me when I say "Keep on doing what you're doing?" :O
Whatever you choose to do, I'm all for it, and wish you the very best as always... ;)

I will only say that be honest to yourself and write about your passions! Don't try to please your audience. Make your audience instead.

Karen, I think that you should write about your life and your passions, as you've been doing. Honestly, I've seen people get wildly successful writing different things (though economics and crypto dominate the big earners), and other earning barely a buck for content equal in quality. I'm still trying to figure that out myself, but my efforts to pinpoint a direction to success haven't turned one good way.

It was certainly worth asking! Looking at your profile, I'm not seeing bad returns at all. It looks to me like posts on personal growth (mindfulness?) are netting you the biggest returns. Just as an observation, if that helps. I guess people are connecting with that the most.
I do find the meditation gets the most votes then when I write other my votes drop, maybe steemers are on holiday :)

I don't think there's anything wrong with writing about your other topics, but I agree that focusing on a few things is probably the best. I've noticed that the most prolific authors, and very successful, stick to really one or two things. I'm still also trying to find my groove here as well. Looking forward to whatever you decide!

You could also intertwine the other topics within you main topics, i.e. how gardening/cooking/meditation helps/alleviates ADHD/depression etc... Just a thought. :)
