Request for help - how can I post a video to steemit without a youtube account?

Can anyone point me towards a video-sharing site where I can upload my videos for use on steemit. I don;t have, nor do I want, a youtube accounte, but posting video links from vimeo, dailymotion, and a couple of other sites hasn't worked.

    Have you tried using the embed code to post the video from vimeo/dailymotion?

          I haven't tried this yet, so I don't know if it's even what you need. But I know how frustrating it was for me the first week here to not know how to insert a picture--so I can empathize with your frustration--if you DO find something that works, please write a blog on it for other newbies, and make sure to put "steem-it help" as one of the tags--Thanks!
