Daily Menu Delicacies Week No.114. date (01-03-2026) // Delicious local dish combination

You all are welcome to my blog. Today I am going to share with you the menu delicacies that I received on the first of March. I would like to thank the @steemit-ironchef community for organizing such a delicious program every week.

I enjoyed the food I received throughout the day. Because I learned that many of the foods were prepared according to my taste.

It was a Sunday so the morning passed as usual. As soon as I woke up, I tidied up and cleaned my room. Education gives me the motivation and calmness I need to do my work for the day. Then I brushed my teeth and washed my face and changed into a new outfit. To eat, I got a cup of milk with Roastpan. I prepared the milk by mixing two teaspoons of milk powder with 1 1/2 teaspoons of sugar and filling the cup with hot water. That is the measure I use to prepare a milk powder. If Roastpan is soft, it is even more perfect.

Around 10 pm, my mother had prepared egg hoppers for everyone to eat. There were a few plain hoppers in between. I usually eat egg hoppers by rolling them with a plain hopper. I really enjoy the flavor that comes from the hoppers. So, I only use a paste or curry when I eat plain hoppers. However, before having lunch that day, I tasted two super perfect dishes.

I told my mother to pack lunch. Because I could eat it at my job place then. It consisted of rice spread on a banana leaf into dhal, mango chutney with fried dried sprats and two pieces of fish.li The taste of those dishes was delicious when eaten on the banana leaf. Both my sister and I love eating rice on banana leaves. I feel that it has a special taste.

That night, we ordered kottu for the whole family. One kottu cost LKR 950. We tried it because it was a newly opened restaurant near our house. It was really delicious. The chicken was crispy and the eggs were good. That's how we spent the day with food. I hope to meet you another day.
