Assalamu Alaikum everyone, how are you all? I hope everyone is well. I am also well. Today I have come to you with another post. I really like participating in various competitions. Among them, this time I liked the dessert contest a lot. I especially liked the topic of this week's competition, Traditional Desserts. I like to eat desserts made with milk most of the time. Today, by participating in the competition, I will share with you the method of making a delicious Traditional Desserts.
1.What is your traditional dessert? Have you tried it?.
My most favorite traditional dessert is Payas. Payas is not only mine but also a very old and traditional dessert in our country. Which was actually always made at home on any occasion, wedding, etc. and it tastes amazing. Where rice and milk are cooked together, it is made with a lot of sweets inside which is amazing. Earlier, this traditional Payas was cooked as a dessert after the meal in all the events in our country and was served to everyone after the meal. This is a kind of precious dessert for me that reminds me of my childhood memories where I used to eat this food after the meal of any event. A very traditional dessert that is very easy to eat and one of my favorite sweets.
2.Make any one of the recipes that you like most from traditional desserts, with a detailed step-by-step procedure along with images.
•Rice-1 cup
•Milk-1 liter
•Sugar-2 teaspoons
•Jaggery-as much
•Raisins-6/7
•Almonds-6/7
•Bay leaves-2
•Cardamom powder-a pinch
•Ghee-2 teaspoons
First, I put a little ghee in a pan and when the ghee got hot, I fried the raisins and almonds in it.
Then I removed the nuts from the ghee and added two bay leaves to the ghee.
Then I put the bay leaves in the ghee and the rice and lightly fried the rice.
Then I poured a generous amount of milk into the pan.
Then I added the date molasses to the milk and rice as per my requirement. Then I added a little sugar and cooked it for a while.
Then I added the pre-fried raisins and nuts.
Then I added a generous amount of cardamom powder.
Then I added some chopped almonds to the date molasses paste.
3.Do you face any difficulty during making this recipe.
Today I am sharing with you Gudde Payes. I did not have any difficulty in making the recipe because I have been making it occasionally for a long time. That is why I did not have any difficulty in making it. I think it is very easy to make because I have added some things like sweets, jaggery, raisins, almonds in the cooking process. I have easily made the Gudde Payes recipe which is amazing to eat and I also think it is very easy to make. However, those who have never made this recipe may find it difficult, but for those who are making this recipe, it is very easy to make. I have made the recipe many times, that is why I did not have any difficulty in making it. I made the recipe very easily.
4.On what occasion do you want to make it.
The sweet recipe that I have shared with you today is a very traditional sweet, one of my favorite sweets. I make it on any special day of mine because I like to eat it a lot. For example, on my husband's birthday and our wedding anniversary, I like to make this sweet a lot and make it. It is not only made on my special day but on all the special days of our country, but earlier it was made a lot more, now since many types of ready-made sweets have come to the market, it is now made less on various special occasions. That is why I miss it a lot and whenever I feel like eating it, I make it at home. And I choose my special days first to make it.
