How are you all? I hope everyone is living a healthy and happy life. I feel truly thankful for each new day and sincerely thank Allah for this beautiful blessing. Today, I am excited to participate in the wonderful contest. I am very grateful to the Steem Iron Chef community for arranging such an engaging and meaningful contest. It gives us a great platform to share our favorite dishes and cooking experiences. I’m happy to present my daily menu and hope you enjoy these dishes as much as I enjoyed preparing them.
This morning, I prepared a fresh juice for breakfast using carrots and raisins. I wasn’t in the mood for a heavy or oily meal, so a healthy drink felt like the perfect choice. This juice is not only light and refreshing but also great for the skin and our health.
Carrot juice, especially when mixed with natural ingredients, is full of goodness. I made it for myself and my brother, and we both really enjoyed its sweet and delicious taste. Starting the day with such a simple and healthy drink made me feel fresh and energetic, and it encouraged me to choose healthier options more often.
For lunch, we enjoyed dal and aloo chicken curry, along with freshly ordered tandoori rotis. In this weather, tandoori rotis taste especially good with every kind of curry because of their crispy texture. I also sliced some round onions and squeezed fresh lemon on top, which made the meal even more flavorful. The dal was lovingly prepared by my aunt, while I cooked the aloo chicken myself. Together, everything came out delicious and made lunch truly satisfying.
And then as the evening progressed, we had guests with us, so I made a delicious game for them and on top of it, I chopped dry fruits, which included walnuts, almonds, pistachios, and cashews. This pudding becomes so much more delicious. Sometimes I make pressed pudding, sometimes rice pudding.
But rice kheer also has its own test and canned market kheer also has a better test and canned pudding is made quickly. I made it delicious quickly because I know how to make it so well. I had learned to make it from my mother a long time ago and after that I garnished the nuts nicely on top.
At night, we cooked fish for dinner. My mother had marinated it earlier in the day because the longer meat or fish is seasoned, the richer and more flavorful it becomes when cooked. This fish turned out so tasty that everyone at home enjoyed it. My mother always uses homemade spices instead of store-bought ones, which gives the dish a special aroma and a natural, authentic taste. Her way of cooking truly makes every meal feel comforting and delicious.
