Daily Menu Delicacies Week No.104 (09-01-2025) // Comfort in Every Bite : A Food-Filled Day 🍽️😋

How are you all? I hope all of you are well and happy in your lives. I am grateful to see every new day in my life. I thanked to Allah for this blessing. Today, I am excited to take part in the amazing contest “The Daily Menu: Delicacies Week #104” 🎉. I am very grateful to the Steem Iron Chef community for organizing such a wonderful and engaging contest. It gives all of us a great opportunity to share our favorite meals and cooking experiences. I look forward to sharing my daily menu with you and hope you enjoy seeing the dishes I have prepared as much as I enjoyed making them.

This morning, I enjoyed eating aloo gosht with chapati, and it tasted really delicious. My mother had prepared the dish last night, so it was easy to have it for breakfast. When I woke up, I was craving something tasty, so I made fresh chapatis and shared this breakfast with my mother. We both enjoyed our nashta together. A healthy breakfast is very important because it gives energy, keeps us active, and helps us start the day in a good mood.

After that, it was time for lunch, so I went to the kitchen and told my mother that I would cook the meal today. I happily prepared rice with potatoes and peas for everyone at home. I really enjoyed cooking and had a lot of fun while making it. Everyone in the house loves this simple homemade dish. I usually cook the rice without much chili and avoid adding too many spices, keeping it light and tasty. I have learned most of my cooking skills from my mother, and she always helps and guides me in the kitchen. Her support has made me more confident, and cooking has become something I truly enjoy.

As the weather is becoming colder and the fog is getting heavier these days, many people in our house have started feeling unwell. Because of this, my mother decided to make soup today, as it gives warmth and comfort in winter. Soup is a perfect winter food and should be made in every home during this season. We also enjoyed it at our house today, and it tasted really delicious. I helped my mother by shredding the chicken and cutting the vegetables. Warm soup not only feels soothing in cold weather but also helps the body feel relaxed and refreshed, making winter days more comfortable.

After that, my grandmother came to our house, and she always brings her special homemade Pinniyan. She makes it herself and shares it with everyone in the family. We really love her Pinniyan because it tastes so fresh and delicious. She also adds many kinds of dry fruits to it, which makes it an extra special treat during winter. In these cold months, she never lets us run out of this tasty paneer. My grandmother is truly a blessing for us.She is very caring and always thinks about how to make everyone happy and comfortable. She teaches us many things, like cooking, patience, and kindness, and spending time with her always fills the house with warmth and love.

That night, I enjoyed eating a mix of nuts, including sunflower seeds, walnuts, pistachios, and raisins. We always keep these nuts in a box and like to eat them together in the evenings. They are one of our favorite winter snacks. I especially love sunflower seeds, but I enjoy the whole mix very much. Eating these nuts together reminds me of happy family evenings, sitting around, sharing stories, and enjoying simple winter comforts. These small moments with nuts have become warm and special memories for me.
