Here is: contest link. Anyway, let's get started--
Today, I’m going to share what I ate throughout the day. Since I live in a hostel away from home, cooking my own meals isn't an option for me, as every hostel has its own set of rules. We have to pay our food expenses—or the 'mess bill'—at the beginning of each month. Also, using a mobile phone while eating in the hostel is prohibited—a rule I am still trying to get used to. Above all, the hostel meals prioritize nutritional value over mere taste, which is ultimately very beneficial for health. Interestingly, however, we had a special event at the hostel today, so the food was quite good. Although I couldn't take photos of every dish, I did manage to snap a few. All in all, I really enjoyed the food and had a wonderful time.
breakfast
Since it was a Thursday, my breakfast consisted of rice, dal, aloo posto (potato in poppy seed paste), hog plum (amra) chutney, and fried papad. We are served aloo posto for breakfast every Thursday. The hog plum chutney was quite tangy, and papad tastes delicious when paired with such chutney. Moreover, posto is a valuable dish that offers significant health benefits.
Lunch
Since we aren't provided with lunch at the hostel, we have to buy our own meals; often, we simply save a portion of our morning rice to eat later in the afternoon. However, on this particular day, we were served Koraishutir Kochuri (deep-fried bread stuffed with spiced green peas) and Aloo Dum (spicy potato curry) for lunch to mark the occasion. The Aloo Dum looked incredibly appetizing and tasted absolutely delicious, while the Kochuris—filled with the spiced pea mixture—were equally wonderful.
Dinner
There were many dishes served for dinner, but since they weren't all brought out at once, I couldn't take a photo of the entire spread; instead, I only photographed the first dish served. For the salad course, I opted for the paneer satay—served with cucumber—instead of the chicken satay, as I do not eat chicken. This was my first time trying it, and I found the taste absolutely delicious. Moreover, since the paneer is made entirely from cow's milk, it is very healthy and nutritious. To top it all off, there was 'Lord Chamcham' for dessert—a treat that simply melted in the mouth. In short, it was incredibly yummy.
I went to invite these friends:
