Contest||Recipe of the Day. Week No.105("A Glass Ice Cream Recipe Made from a Blend of Psyllium Husk and Various Fruits")
My dear friends, I am absolutely delighted to participate in today's "Recipe of the Day: Week No. 105" contest. Today, I will be sharing with you a recipe of my own invention—one crafted using psyllium husk and a variety of fruits. It is a beverage recipe—specifically, one that requires absolutely no cooking or heat to prepare.
Summer is a season when we typically indulge in a wide array of drinks—whether it be ice cream or various types of sharbat (refreshing fruit drinks)—that satisfy our cravings and cool our bodies. In that same spirit, I have created this recipe by combining psyllium husk, Katila (a gum or resin derived from a medicinal plant), sugar, dates, grapes, and other ingredients, all assembled within a glass. Thus, it can be aptly described as a "Glass Ice Cream." Moreover, just as fruits are beneficial for our physical well-being, Katila and psyllium husk are equally essential and highly beneficial for our bodies.Katila is odorless and tasteless, and when soaked in water, it swells up into a gel-like consistency. Much like psyllium husk, it is widely used to keep the body cool, relieve constipation, and prepare summer beverages. This ice cream turned out to be absolutely delicious. In any case, this competition is undoubtedly wonderful, and it has been organized by @steemit-Iranchef. I extend my heartfelt gratitude to them for organizing such a magnificent recipe-based contest.
Here is: contest link. So, let's get started with the recipe---
Ingredients:
| Ingredients | Quantity |
|---|---|
| Psyllium Husk | 2 Tablespoons |
| Sugar | 2 Tablespoons |
| Katila Gum | 5 Pieces |
| Dates | 4 Pieces |
| Grapes | 4 Pieces |
| Water | 1 Glass |
Methods for making recipe:
Step: 1
First, I will take some fruits and a few pieces of Katila gum. Then, I will thoroughly wash the fruits with water.
Step: 2
Next, I will peel the grapes.
Step: 3
Now, into a glass, I will add 2 spoonfuls of psyllium husk, the pieces of Katila gum, and 2 spoonfuls of sugar (adjusting the quantity as needed).
Step: 4
Next, using a knife, I will cut the fruits into small pieces. Then, I will place them into the glass and add water. Afterward, I will mix all the ingredients together using a spoon.
Step: 5
Now, I will fold a piece of plastic wrap in half, place it over the mouth of the glass, and secure it with a rubber band to ensure that no air enters.
Step: 6
Finally, I will place it in the deep freezer.
Step: 7
A day later, I took the glass out of the refrigerator, where all the ingredients had set beautifully.
Step: 8
Next, I turned the glass over and transferred the ice cream onto a plate.
Step: 9
The upper layer—consisting of psyllium husk—and the lower layer—a blend of various fruits—created a lovely color combination within the ice cream. It looked somewhat like a pudding.
Final step:
so, my "Glass Ice Cream Recipe: A Blend of Psyllium Husk and Various Fruits" was complete! Finally, I ate the glass ice cream in small pieces. It was delicious and thoroughly satisfying.
| So, dear friends, I hope you enjoyed the recipe I prepared today. I will be back again soon with a new recipe post. Until then, take care, everyone. May God keep you all healthy. |
