Assalamu Alaikum steemian friends. Wishing everyone good health. Hope everyone is well. Today I am here again to take part in the power up post among you. I do strength training regularly and I always try to increase my strength. I know that the only way to power up on steemit is to power up regularly. Hence it is a suitable means of increasing energy.

Steem Power is a power meter within Steemit that increases your voting and curation power. This is the process of converting your earned Steem Tokens into Steem Power (SP) on the Steemit platform. So I have shown the screenshot below the steps to power up. In this you can learn the process of power up. So let's begin.

- Before powering up I first logged into my STEEMIT profile from there I clicked on the wallet option on the right side.

- Every user has to sign in after entering the wallet. So I also clicked on sign in option.

- Now you need your username and your STEEM key to sign in. So I typed username in my username field and clicked login option with my STEEM key.

- Now my wallet is logged in. You can notice that liquid STEEM in my wallet is 555.767 STEEM and my total SP amount is 30,015.718 STEEM.

- Now after clicking on STEEM option, POWER UP option will appear. So now I clicked on power up option below.

- Here is Convert to STEEM written above. Here you need to convert liquid STEEM to SP. For this you need to determine the amount of STEEM. I set here 555.767 STEEM. After that I clicked on the power up option and completed the power up.

- Finally now you can see that my liquid STEEM is zero and the amount below SP has increased to 30,571.537 STEEM. This is how I completed the power up successfully.

We always want to strengthen ourselves. Because that is our goal. Power ups are very important in Steemit in my opinion. Because the more power we increase, the more our STEEM power will increase. Power Up Increases your voting power on Steemit. As a result your vote will be worth more when you vote on posts or comments. By powering up you become a stakeholder in the STEEM block and increase your influence on the platform.
This makes you more credible to other users. Powering up STEEM is safe in your STEEM ecosystem, as it takes 13 weeks to power down. So it can protect your funds from hacking. Power ups enable you to do more for the community Curation is like earning rewards and supporting other users more. That's why I power up regularly and I think the importance of power ups is immense.
