Write the complete step-by-step method of making herbal basil tomato ketchup from washing to the final cooking.
First, I doused 500 kg of fresh tomatoes completely in pristine water to take off dirt or soil. Then I slice them into small fragments so they could cook smoothly.
I reaped 13 fresh basil leaves, bathed them duly, and dice it and kept them away to dry.
I deposed the diced tomatoes in a pot, appended half a mug of water, and leave them cook on a low flame for 7 – 10 minutes until they came gentle and juicy.
After refrigerating, I streamed the steamed tomatoes into a blender jar and predicate them into a cosmopolitan paste.
I strained the blended tomato fusion with a strainer to dispose off tomato surfaces and seeds. The fatless liquid was precisely now prepared for seasoning.
In a clean pan, I hotted 2 tablespoons of olive oil on equatorial flame. Then I adjoined 2 cloves and 1 fragile cinnamon sticks and fried them smoothly for incense.
Next, I streamed the strained tomato liquid into the even pan and added salt, red chili powder, and black pepper according to savor. I similarly added apple cider vinegar and 75 grams of finely diced jaggery.
I cooked it sluggishly on equatorial heat until it started thickening and came the authentic ketchup texture. Once it handed over the perfect consistence, I sprinkled finely diced basil leaves over it and covered the pan for a some minutes to permit the herbal scent and nutrients blend through steam.
After chilling, I strained it onetime again through a fine fabric to take off entire spices and basil pieces. My homemade basil tomato ketchup was now ready — smooth, bright, and naturally aromatic!
