Greetings everyone,

For this week’s challenge, I visited the Best Buy showroom located in Satarkul, Badda, Dhaka. From outside, the shop does not look very big. But after entering, I saw that many household products are arranged neatly inside the small space.

Location & Opening Hours

The showroom is beside the main road of Satarkul Bazar. It is easy to find. There are pharmacies and other shops nearby, so the area is usually busy.

The shop is open from morning until night. I visited in the evening, and there were still many customers at that time.

Shop Environment & Decoration

There is a large Best Buy signboard in front of the shop. Through the glass door, the inside is clearly visible.

After entering, I first noticed different kitchen items and electric appliances. The racks are arranged in straight lines, so it is easy to walk around and see the products. The lighting is bright, which helps to check product details clearly.

On one side, steel strainers, spatulas, spoons, and other cooking tools were hanging. On the other side, different sizes of pots and pans were nicely displayed. Plastic buckets, boxes, and containers were kept in a separate section.

Product Types, Quality & Price

Some products I noticed:

Electric kettle
Blender (Vision and other brands)
Table fan
Rice cooker
Pots, pans, and cookware sets
Plastic household items

The price of a Vision brand blender was around 7,300 BDT. A small table fan cost between 1,985–2,150 BDT. The kettle price was also within a reasonable budget.

The prices seemed close to the current market rate. Each product had a price tag, which made it easy to check.

Payment System

They accept cash and also mobile banking services like bKash and Nagad. If needed, customers can ask whether installment facilities are available.

Service & Behavior

The staff behavior was good. They helped show the products and answered questions politely. Even though the shop was busy, they spoke patiently with customers.

If I Could Choose One Product

If I could buy one product from this shop, I would choose a Vision brand blender. It is very useful for making juice, shakes, and blending spices for cooking. A good blender makes kitchen work much easier.

What Do I Check First?

First, I check energy-saving features. Then I look at warranty and service facilities. Price is important, but I do not buy something only because it is cheap.

Which Appliance Do I Want to Replace?

Our old table fan at home makes a lot of noise. So, if possible, I would like to buy a new energy-saving table fan.

My Experience

Overall, my experience at Best Buy, Satarkul showroom was good. Although the shop is small, it is well organized, offers a variety of products, and the prices are reasonable. People living in Badda or nearby areas can visit this shop for househBuy items.
