Wishing all Steemit friends good health. In the first week, I will share with you the Soup Engagement Challenge by making tomato soup. The theme of this week's engagement challenge is SLC28-W1 // "Tomatoes soup". Thanks to sister @uzma4882 for organizing this great engagement challenge. So let's get started.

🍲 Make Tomato Soup Step by Step Recipe (4)

Required Ingredients :

chicken powder1/2 cup
cumin powder1/2 tablespoon
red chili powder1/2 tablespoon
turmeric powder1/2 tablespoon
cornflour2 tablespoons
ghee1/2 tablespoon
soy sauce1 tablespoon
chili sauce1/2 tablespoon
scallion leavesa small amount

( In our area, scallion leaves are not available in the local market. So here I have used the top part of the onion)

Preparation method:

  • Step 1: First, I wash the tomatoes well with clean water and cut them in half with the help of a knife. Then I cut the scallion leaves and garlic into pieces.

  • Second step: In a pot, add chopped tomatoes with a little water and cook for about five minutes on the stove. Then remove from the stove and peel the tomatoes. Then blend the tomatoes in a blender.

  • Third step: Put a pot on the stove and add garlic cloves with a little ghee and fry them until lightly browned, add scallion leaves and stir for a while. Then blend the tomato mixture.

  • Fourth step: Now add turmeric powder, red pepper powder, cumin powder and a little water to the tomato mixture. Then cook for about 6 to 7 minutes.

  • Fifth step: Then I add chicken powder, soy sauce and chili sauce and stir well.

  • Sixth step: On the other hand, I will make a mixture of cornflour with a little water. Now add the cornflower mixture to the tomato soup, stir well and cook for a while on the stove and remove from the stove. My tomato soup is done.

🍲 Final presentation with date and username (2.5)

Tomato soup I used a beautiful pot for decoration and coriander leaves. Now I will put my name and date tag on the tomato soup and take a picture.

🍲 What nutrients are found in tomato soup and why is it healthy in winter.

Tomato soup contains vitamin A, antioxidants like lycopene, vitamin C, vitamin K. In addition, tomato soup contains fiber which helps in digestion. Eating tomato soup in winter keeps the body warm. In addition, it increases immunity. In winter, the skin becomes rough and dry, eating tomato soup makes the skin healthy. Tomato soup contains low calories, fiber and water which helps in reducing our body weight and keeps our body healthy. Eating it makes our skin glow. I sometimes make this tomato soup at home during winters because it is quite tasty to eat and beneficial for our body.

🍲 What are the difficulties you face while making soup and list the price of each ingredient in your local currency and sem (1.5)

Winter has come in our region but scallion leaves are not available in the local market yet. It will be available in the market in a few days. So I had to face difficulties in finding scallion leaves. Then I made tomato soup at home with the top of onion. It was a great experience for me and this tomato vegetable was very tasty to eat.
