I am starting by wishing all my Steemit friends good health. Alhamdulillah by the grace of Allah I am very well. I will participate in the engagement challenge today with a great recipe. This recipe is my favorite. First of all, I would like to thank my sister @suboohi for organizing this wonderful engagement challenge. So let's get started.

Why are eggs added to sweets?? What kind of texture do they give?? .(1 mark)

Eggs are added to sweets because eggs are the only ingredient that is able to hold each ingredient together and act as a binder. When making sweets with eggs, the mixture is created like glue and can be made like beautiful sweets. With this, the texture of any sweet or dessert becomes beautiful and the sweets taste delicious. Eggs are also used to make the sweets moist and soft. I had tried making sweets without eggs before but the sweets broke and had holes. So this time I made it with eggs, Alhamdulillah I got good results.

Preparation method:

  • Step 1: First, I will take cow's milk in a sieve on the stove. Then I will curdle the milk with lemon juice. When it is done, I will remove it from the stove and cool it. Then I will pour the curds of milk in a thin cloth and wash it with clean water. Then I will strain the water.

  • Step 2: Now I will knead the curds well with my hands. Then add the required amount of flour and baking powder, one egg and mix the mixture well again.

  • Third step: Now apply a small amount of ghee on your hands and make it like a sweet with the chickpea mixture. If you apply ghee on your hands and do the work, the sweets look beautiful and do not spoil.

  • Fourth step: Now put a pot on the stove and heat the oil and fry the sweets. Here I have fried the sweets until they turn light black. If you want, you can make the sweets red or darker. I like this color. I will take it off the stove when it rains. It took me about 8 to 10 minutes to fry the sweets.

  • Fifth step: Now put a pot on the stove and add one liter of water to it and when it gets hot, add the required amount of sugar and fry it for about six minutes.

  • Sixth step: Then put the sweets in the sugar syrup and cook for about 10 to 12 minutes. When it is done, remove it from the oven and let it rest for two to two and a half hours.

This question is very great for me because I made this sweet recipe twice today. The first day I made it, I had some difficulty. Because I could not give all the ingredients in the right quantity and the sweet did not taste or look good. But today when I made it, I did not have much difficulty. This time I gave all the ingredients very nicely and made the sweet. This sweet was quite delicious to me and my family. Also, my father's house is in Tangail and the most famous cham chom in Bangladesh is available in Tangail. I have seen sweets being made since childhood, so I did not have much difficulty.

The nutritional benefits of sweets are given below:

I made this sweet with milk chickpeas so this sweet contains protein, vitamins, calcium which is very beneficial for our body and is very beneficial for our bones and teeth. Also, eating sweets gives us an instant boost of energy which we need at times. Also, eggs have been used in sweets and eggs are a source of protein. So I think sweets are beneficial for our health in various ways.
